In January 2022, Ways completed the investment in Easpeed Technology Co., Ltd..

Easpeed Technology Co., Ltd. is a potential unicorn enterprise in the metaverse field. It was granted the country-level “Little giants”, top performers among specialized, high-end and innovation-driven small and middle-size enterprises. It has taken on 2 country-level special R&D projects, 3 Anhui province’s technology major projects, several Hefei city’s major new industry projects. More than 700 intellectual property rights have been applied for home and abroad.

In addition, it has established Anhui province’s new-generation optical image technology research center, new-generation display industry ‘s common technology research center, key laboratory of joint disciplines of interactive aerial imaging technology and the display materials. It was marked as the new R&D organization of Anhui province. As an international first-class new display R&D platform, it led the association standard setting and local standard setting of aerial optical image and edited several academic books. 

In terms of awards, it has won several awards like the top prize of the first National Transformative Innovation Competition held by China’s Science and Technology Ministry, the first prize in the finals of the 2022 China Metaverse Innovative Application Competition and the first prize of the Anhui province “Science and Technology Progress” in 2020.
